Please be aware that this is an example. Use this IT CV template to help generate ideas and structure your own CV, but avoid copying and pasting. Your own document needs to be original and tailored to the job you're applying for.
Let your name serve as the title to your IT CV. A short summary/byline is optional, leave it off if you're struggling for space. Below include your home town/city (there's no need for a full address), your email, phone number and a link to your personal LinkedIn profile if you have one.
Start with a brief personal statement, mentioning anything that will make you stand out from other candidates such as studying or working abroad. This sort of experience will catch a recruiter's eye and encourage them to read the rest of your CV.
Outline your educational achievements, listing any relevant modules or subjects before moving on to highlight specific IT skills. Tell the employer about the systems, packages and languages that you are familiar with - it doesn't matter where this knowledge and experience came from, be it a course, placement or job, if its relevant make sure you mention it.
Give an insight into your employment history then include something about your interests if you have space. If you are struggling for space, leave this information out. Your technical knowledge, skills, experience and employment are more important.
